Lavrentis Machairitsas was one of Greece’s most important songwriters\, leaving a lasting mark on the country’s music scene. A pioneer of Greek rock with the band Termites and a key figure of the 1990s singer-songwriter generation\, his songs\,such as Didymoteicho Blues\, Poso Se Thelo\, Kai Ti Zitao\, Ekei Sto Noto\, and Mikros Titanic\,have become timeless classics.
