DESCRIPTION:“135 Years of the ‘Mantzaros’ Philharmonic Society: Aspects of its History” \nThe Mantzaros Philharmonic Society celebrates this year 135 years of continuous operation and contribution on artistic\, educational\, and social levels. Marking this anniversary\, the 9th annual Musicological Conference\, which will take place on Saturday 22 November 2025 at 19:00\, will be dedicated to the historical journey of the Society. \nIn three thematic sections\, the conference will present representative significant moments from the history of the Mantzaros Philharmonic Society\, matters concerning its repertoire\, as well as notable personalities who were associated with it. \nSpeakers (in alphabetical order) will be: Sokratis Anthis\, Stamatis Aspiotis\, Georgia Lazaridou\, Giannis Koutagiar\, Gerasimos Martinis\, Efstathios Pouliasis\, Konstantinos Soueref\, and Spyros Rouvas. \nThe event will take place in the ceremonial hall of the Mantzaros Philharmonic Society building\, with free admission for the public. The event is organised by the musicologist Mr Gerasimos Martinis.
