Anna & Margot | Theatre Performance in Corfu 21 March, 2026 at 19:00

The Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfu hosts the theatre performance “Anna & Margot”, a new play by Konstantina Raikou, directed by Giorgos Drivas.

Inspired by The Diary of Anne Frank, the play follows the two sisters, Anna and Margot Frank, who died in Nazi concentration camps shortly before liberation. The story unfolds in a symbolic space between life and death, where the two young girls reflect on their memories, their dreams and the harsh reality of war.

Through a theatrical narrative blending documentary elements and fiction, the performance explores themes of memory, humanity, war and the universal desire for life, love and freedom.

The two sisters revisit their past through a series of dialogues and role-playing moments, inviting the audience to reflect on the cruelty of war and the resilience of the human spirit.

Lecture/Corfu’s Strategic Importance for Napoleonic France | 11/3 Solomos Museum 8:00pm

The Corfu Society of Studies – Solomos Museum hosts a lecture on Wednesday 11 March 2026 at 20:00, in Corfu.

Speaker: Michalis Politis, Emeritus Professor of the Ionian University.

In his talk, the speaker will attempt to answer a key historical question: why did Napoleon Bonaparte — victorious over the Austrians during the Italian Campaign — choose, during the negotiations at Campo Formio (1797), to grant Austria Venice (which he had occupied shortly before), while placing Corfu and the rest of the Ionian Islands under French control?

Through this lens, the lecture highlights Corfu’s strategic role within the geopolitical balance of the Napoleonic era and the broader Mediterranean theatre.

Time: 8:00pm

Date: 11/3

Place:Solomos Museum

ELIZADETH | Comedy at Municipal Theatre of Corfu | 21:00 | Mar 7–16

The Corfu Stage 2026 presents the comedy “ELIZADETH” by Dimitris Karatzias, directed by Nota Darmani, from March 7 to March 16, 2026, at 21:00, at the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfu (DIPE.THE. Corfu).

On the occasion of the 150+1 years anniversary of the Dramatic Society and the Corfu Stage, a wild comedy arrives that overturns every theory we thought we knew (or maybe not?) about the world of theatre, humorously commenting on the relationships between actors and the creative team of a performance, as well as the vanity that often prevails.

The play is an adaptation by Dimitris Karatzias of “Vasilikoi Meta Troulou” by Haris Romas, directed by Nota Darmani.

Fast-paced, exuberant, explosive, and eccentric—just like the times that inspired it.

Time: 21:00am

Place: Municipal Theatre of Corfu
