Choral groups from across Corfu perform Lazarus carols.
Lazarus Saturday (April 4th), starting at St. Nicholas of the Elders, 11:30. Final gathering at 12:30, in San Giacomo (Old Town Hall) for a joint performance.
05/04 11:00 – Litany of St. Spyridon
Traditional litany commemorating the 1629 miracle of St. Spyridon, led by the Metropolitan of Corfu. Palm Sunday (April 5th), 11:00, starting from Saint Spyridon Church.
Requiem Concert & Holy Week Hymns 5 April
The Philharmonic Union of Corfu “O Kapodistrias” presents a special concert titled “Requiem – Memory, Ritual and Contemporary Interpretation”, in collaboration with the vocal ensemble Camerata Vocalis.
The concert features the first world performance of the new edition of the work Requiem for Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette by Charles Nicholas Bochsa.
The evening also includes the Choir of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Corfu, performing hymns of Holy Week.
